It is with regret that Lightspeed announces the loss of cherished co-worker and friend Gail Gegg Rosenberg, who passed away after a brave battle with lung cancer on December 5th. Gail was known and loved by everyone in the audiology community for her career-long commitment to helping others by improving classroom audio. Her many leadership roles included serving as Past President of the Educational Audiology Association and the Florida Speech & Hearing Association.

Countless professionals, and teachers and students in the classrooms, were influenced by and found their lives improved through Gail’s groundbreaking work in classroom acoustics, amplification and educational audiology. We will miss Gail for her wisdom, good humor, and tireless passion for improving children’s lives. The family has designated the American Cancer Society for anyone wishing to donate on behalf of Gail Rosenberg. Cards may be sent to her husband, Bernard Rosenberg, 1705 Wharf Rd., Sarasota, FL 34231.
